The rematch between WBC middleweight champion Jean Pascal and former champion Adrian Diaconnu will take place at the Bell Centre, in Montreal, on December 11th, 2009. Undefeated in his 26 previous battles, Diaconnu lost for the first time (and subsequently lost his belt as well) against Jean Pascal on June 19th, 2009. Since, Pascal easily defeated his first challenger Silvio Branco last september. But now, a real challenge awaits Pascal, as Diaconnu will have his sight set on regaining the belt, while Pascal will want to prove that his win against Diaconnu was no fluke.
